Getting some retail therapy in Singapore

You can’t say that you’ve shopped in Singapore if you haven’t been to these iconic shopping spots. Now all you need is to check whether there’s enough space in your check in luggage to bring your “loot” back.

Mustaffa Centre

The best time to visit this late night department is between 10pm until it closes at 2am. There’s less people so you can browse comfortably for all your fashion, shoes, watches, cosmetics, electronics, cameras, housewares, toys, luggage and even groceries. Whatever you can think of, you can most probably find it within the six floors here and at slightly more affordable prices than at other places.

Looking for a bite nearby? The newly opened GupShup at The Serangoon House serves elevated Indian chaats in a cosy setting.

Bugis Junction

Located one MRT stop away, Bugis Junction consists of a shopping mall, an office tower and the InterContinental Singapore Hotel. The mall is popular among the younger crowd for its trendy fashion stores that include Aldo, anothersole, Benjamin Barker, Charles & Keith, Fred Perry, Guess, Pandora, Pedro, Skechers, Vans and Yacht 21.

While here, pop in at the InterContinental Singapore Hotel’s Lobby Lounge for Afternoon Tea, which also has a vegan option.
