The annual "Christmas on A Great Street" event on Orchard Road in Singapore is gearing up for an exciting celebration for its 40th anniversary.
Enhancing the festive spirit are three Christmas Villages along Orchard Road, each offering unique attractions. These villages include carnival rides, games, pop-up stores showcasing local arts and crafts, and a variety of food and beverage options. Key attractions include a double-storey carousel and ferris wheel at Shaw House Urban Plaza starting November 24, a bouncy castle and craft workshops at Plaza Singapura from December 1, and live music performances, arcade games, and a swing ride at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza from December 8. Musicians like Daniel Sid, LAYYI, and The Cold Cut Duo will perform on Friday and Saturday evenings, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
Take a double decker bus like 106, 7, from Tanglin Mall to city hall and sit on the top deck in the front, you will be up close to all the lights on the street view as you go by.
